How can I make mp3 files as ringtone?

I just bought the Sony Ericson c905a ATT cell phone with camera Photo 8.1 mega pixle and I was wondering if anyone knew how I could make an MP3 file as a ringtone i tried my short circuit within 30 seconds and he still said he can not use this file can anyone help is there a sort of free software I cand download the converted file MP3 in a usable format please help.

You've always wanted to know how to make an iPhone ringtone?

Well, there is a clear way and the method described below is first for Windows, as if you have a Mac, you can use GarageBand to create a personalized ringtone.

So, it's how you made. Open your iTunes and search for the track you are planning will do as your new ringtone. Remember that there must be DRM-free, one without digital locks (known as the technology of digital rights management). The last step is to sync your iPhone with iTunes. A Once completed, your new ringtone should be on your iPhone. If it has not worked, simply ensure that your UPS iPhone and iTunes together synchronization is correctly configured to accept the ring.
